I Will Praise You

God….Today I will praise You.

I will praise You for prayers you have answered.
I will praise You for the ones you haven’t. Yet.
I will praise You for the things you have provided.
I will praise You for the things you withheld.
I will praise You when the way is made clear.
I will praise You when the way is hidden.
I will praise You for times I’ve laughed.
I will praise You for the tears I’ve cried.
I will praise You when I’m peaceful.
I will praise You when I’m scared.
I will praise You when I’ve been cherished.
I will praise You when I’ve been mistreated.
I will praise You for the love I’ve known.
And I will praise You for the love I’ve lost.

The good and the bad.
They are all within your sovereign watch.
They are all within Your control.
They all work together and…
I will praise You because You know best.
